When I asked Josh what he wanted to do for Father's Day, he said he wanted to go check out a new lake. He chose Lake Watauga in Tennessee. We pulled the boat about an hour and a half into the mountains of TN, outside of Johnson City. The lake was beautiful and very similar to Lake James, where we usually go boating. Less people but not as many beaches. It's always fun to check out new places.
The beaches were more like clay slopes. Not as inviting so we anchored the boat when we wanted to swim.
Even warmer mountain lake water is too cold for me. These four are nuts.
I tried to get a normal photo
and again....
It just wasn't going to happen
Emma made some friends
Grady drove the boat a lot on this trip. He did a great job.
Of course, Emma wanted in on the action.
He is growing up so fast.
They both fell asleep in my lap. I think my legs went numb but I just couldn't move them. So sweet when they are sleeping.
