Father's Day and a New Jeep

 It's so nice to have my parents close by.  We can celebrate special occasions together, like Father's Day!

In other exciting news, Josh and I got a new Jeep.  Since we both had Jeeps when we met, we have always said that we would get another one when we could.

Spruce Pine Alien Festival

 We drove over to Spruce Pine to check out the Alien Festival.  It sounded weird and didn't disappoint.  Totally strange......

Special Olympics- Raleigh

 Emma has been doing gymnastics for about a year now and was asked to join the Buncombe County Special Olympics team for the state games in Raleigh.  

It was a big deal!  We had no idea how busy it would be

When we got to our Airbnb, they had made a cute basket for Emma.  It was full of treats, snacks and a sweet note.  She said she felt famous!

She had a blast and was very proud of herself.  I think this was the first and last Olympics for Emma.  Although she had fun, she said it was too overwhelming and stressful.  I'm glad she gave it a shot.
