Girls Weekend- North Georgia

 Kristy, Lisa and I made our way to the wine country of North Georgia.  Yup, there really is a wine country in Georgia.  Who knew?!  Actually, it was beautiful and the wine was great.  What was even better than the wine was the company.  We have so much fun together and never skip a beat.  It's like we are back in college again.  Seriously!

Six

Emma is 6 years old!  I can't say the years have flown by.  I feel each one of them ;).  She has grown up in so many ways this year.  She has been able to control her emotions better, she controls her body a little more, she still shows copious amounts of love to all around her.  Emma started kindergarten, learned to ride a bike and lost 3 teeth.  It has been a pretty successful year for her, overall.  Emma I am proud of your power, your love of life, your fierceness and your heart,

The big day had finally arrived....Emma's 6th birthday!!  She had been waiting and asking about it for weeks.  As tradition dictates, she opened her presents before school.

When I asked her who she wanted at her party she said, "Sheri, Ruth and DeDe".  These are our wonderful neighbors and Emma's best friends.

Climber

Every grade at Evergreen gets a few fun climbing wall days.  It was time for the Kindergartners to try their first hand at climbing.  Emma was a little nervous at first, which is not like her.  She gave it a shot anyway and enjoyed it.
