Camping in Boone

We went on a spur of the moment camping trip a few weekends ago.  And by spur of the moment, I mean we didn't have a campsite booked until we were almost there.  We knew we wanted to head up to the Boone area but we weren't sure where we were going to camp.  We ended up at the Honey Bear Campground.  We have been there before and really liked it.  It didn't disappoint!  We had a great time at the campground and checking out Boone.

The Honey Bear has a double swing.  What a hit with the kids.

They turned it into a triple swing

The kids did a little fishing in the pond

I think this was her first time trying to fish

They didn't catch anything but had a lot of fun

Then it was on to Tweetie Railroad

Where they belong

Look at the concentration on his face

Driving is no joke

The Emus were our favorite.  We all laughed so hard, I was crying.

Slow motion Emu attack

Emma terrorized the goats

Josh trying to blow up the air couch

There was a tasty margarita hiding in this kids cup :)

Sachi, the three legged wonder dog's,  first camping trip.
