Apple Season

Its apple time again in the mountains.  As our tradition dictates, we went to Grandad's Apples in Hendersonville.  It was even better this year with a few new additions for the kids.  We bought apple slushies, apple donuts, apple fritters oh and of course apples.

The enormous bear was a new feature.

The bear works well with the much loved giant gorilla.

They had a new contraption to feed the goats

As always, the kids measured themselves.

I love looking back at our old photos here.  The kids are growing like crazy

Emma wasn't interested in getting measured

Or taking a picture

The spider web was awesome

We even grabbed some peaches

How to terrify your toddler.....

put her in a cow train....

Let the cow train slowly drive away into a corn field.  Emma cried like a maniac.

Meanwhile, the boys played on a giant bouncing pillow.

The cow train arrived back to the station.  When Emma got off she looked at us with a very nasty face and said, "I no like that"!!

We met my friend, Emily and her family at the farm.  Emily's daughter is the same age as Emma.  They had a blast playing together.

Emma and Hayden

We have this same photo from the last three years.
