I love fall weekends. It's festival time and there is so much to do in the mountains. The weather is finally cooling down. The nights are getting crisp. Although the rain has dampened some of our plans, we have still managed to get out and about.
We went to the Pisgah Fish Hatchery.
This is one of the boys favorite place to visit
Checking out the trout.
She decided that she had had enough walking around Brevard. An entry way to a shop was the perfect spot for a nap. The life of a two year old.....
Next was the LAFF festival. One of my all time favorite festivals held in Asheville. It's an arts festival complete with Mardi Gras marching bands.....
Magicians.....
and other crazy street performers
On one beautiful weekend, Josh built the kids a tree house.
Not bad for a days work
The boys were able to check out some Vietnam War era helicopters when the traveling Vietnam memorial came to town.
Next was the Mountain State Fair
At this point in the ride, I heard Myles yell, "I think I need to meditate!!"
It was a cool day and Myles borrowed my sweater. Fits pretty well :)
Emma liked to watch the scary rides but wanted nothing to do with them.
Checking out the livestock
One last ride for Myles.
