Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween!! We had a busy weekend, full of fun!! It started on Friday night when we went to the Fall Festival for Grady's school. There were horseback rides, bounce houses, games, etc. They boys had a blast.

On Halloween night, we had some friends over for pre-Halloween dinner/drinks. Then we hit the streets. Black Mountain is a wonderful place to trick or treat. The police shut down several of the main streets and the kids come out in full force. Usually, we get out around 5 and it's pretty tame. This year we made the mistake of getting out later.....Whoa, way too crowded. It was pitch black and I was terrified I was going to lose one of the boys. Grady and Myles were running around like mad men. They loved the action and all of the costumes. Myles really got into it. He was stomping and growling like a dinosaur. He had everyone laughing at him as we walked the streets. They loved every minute of it.

Diego and the dinosaur. Yes, Diego is sporting a sword....who knew an animal rescuer needed a blade but he had to have it. Thank you Gramma for the fun costumes. They were exactly what the boys asked for.

Growling like dinosaurs

Don't you just want to squeeze him!!

The dad's ready to hit the streets.

These pics didn't turn out well. The kids were moving so fast and not in the mood to stand still for photos....who can blame them?

Checking out his first every piece of trick or treating candy.

Corinne and Myles

G and Moo checking out the costumes....or maybe the pretty girl?

End of the night and looking tired.

Heading home
