Fun in a Box

Usually my posts are about the fun we have had over the weekend but this weekend was all work. I had to work all day Saturday as it was Girl Scout Day at Chimney Rock. We had about 200 Scouts and 140 parents attend the event. Sticking with a Fall theme, I taught a program on bats. The girls seemed to enjoy it.
On Sunday, Josh had to work for a bit as well. So, we didn't do much this weekend. That being said, I thought I would post a few pics from this week.
The boys have been playing with this box all week. It is amazing how entertaining a box can be with a little imagination. This box has been a boat, plane, car, garage for cars, fort, nest, etc. I love that they have such crazy imaginations, even little Myles. Who, by the way, has a new favorite saying...."Mama, watch this". This request is usually followed by him flinging himself off something. I never know what I am going to "watch". Keeps me on my toes
.

Myles in his "nest".

Okay, I just had to add this one in. Grady and Myles love to have a few spoonfuls of peanut butter. They won't eat it on sandwiches, only straight up. I forgot to put it up and turned around....Myles was caught red handed.

Grady is very into Yoda from Star Wars. He has never seen the movie but somehow loves Yoda. Here he is with his "Yoda sword". It is actually a bubble wand but to him it is nothing of the sort....Don't call it a bubble wand. He even talks like Yoda, "My sword it is".

I told Grady to make a funny face and this is what I got. Talk about a stink eye!

  1. You totally got the stink eye! I love that they can play with a box for a whole weekend and keep themselves amused. I hope Gray is like that!
