We had a pretty relaxed Christmas this year. We stayed in NC and celebrated with Mimi and Papaw. It's so nice that they live close by.
Ready for Santa
One of Emma's presents was her own popcorn maker. I definitely regret that gift.
She got a little over zealous with the kernels which resulted in the above.
The final result was enough popcorn for an army. This doesn't count all the popcorn that was flung around the kitchen.
After getting thoughtful gifts for everyone, I was given a toilet scrubber......

We grew our own tree....Won't do it again.
Pip and Emma helped with the lights.
Emma's ADHD kicked in and she decided to make a dress out of a plastic bag.
We decided to cut a really large cedar from our front yard that was taking over. It made a horrible Christmas tree that kept falling over. Lights wouldn't stay on, and ornaments fell off constantly. So we just left it like this.
