This Thanksgiving by brother and I had a new idea. Neither one of us wanted to drive the 7.5 hours to each others houses. We decided to rent a house right in the middle and cut the drive in half. We found a cute place in the middle of nowhere Arrington, Virginia. There was pretty much nothing around us but fields and woods. It was nice to unplug and hang out. We are going to do it again next year!
We played a lot of corn hole
Our cute little place
No TV, no wifi
Uncle Will brought a ton of fireworks.
The kids were psyched
So was Josh
Leia getting in on the action
We played a lot of board games
The closest thing to us was the Appomattox Court House where the Civil War ended.
The whole gang. Mimi stayed home and read
We celebrated Papaws birthday too
Mimi desperately trying to get a hug or snuggle from Myles
The effort was in vain
