I cannot express how thankful I am that we have kept in contact with Jake and Tori. Jake is Emma's biological brother and Tori adopted him shortly after we adopted Emma. Although they don't really understand the family dynamics, I think it is so beneficial that Jake and Em remain friends. I cherish my talks with Tori. She is the only person on this planet that totally understands the circumstances of adoption from this particular family. We can talk about so, so many things. She gets its completely. We laugh, cry and most importantly, understand each other as we chase our two wild ones.
Jake and Tori moved to Florida last year and we miss our adventures together. We were so happy that we were able to hang out with them when they visited Asheville.
