Happy 3rd Birthday, Emma

Oh baby girl, what can I say about you?  You are the feistiest little girl I have ever met and I wouldn't want you any other way.  You keep me on my toes whether it is chasing you down the road, getting you down from the amazingly tall places you climb or stopping you from pounding on your brothers. I have always dreamt of having a little girl.  I knew I would and I made it happen.  I thought she would be sweet, quiet and maybe a bit of a bookworm....boy, was I wrong.  You are energetic, wild and full of life (not at all as boring as the little girl I was thinking of).
Thank you for being adventurous.  Thank you for putting your big brothers in their places.  Thank you for sticking up for yourself.  Thank you for being wild and crazy.  Thank you for never meeting a stranger.  Thank you for being so cute that I can't stand it.  Thank you for being sweet (once in a while).  Thank you for being my daughter.  You constantly amaze me.

Emma started out her birthday snuggling with her brother.

She was very excited for the cake.  When asked what she wanted for her birthday, she always replied "cake".

Cake and presents from us

Singing Happy Birthday

While we were singing, she had the biggest smile I have ever seen.  She loved the attention

She played with the big girls in the car during the party.

Gramma and Grandpa brought presents when they came to visit.

A new princess bed set

She loves the new things for her room and makes people march in there and check them out.

Mimi and Papaw sent her a "Let it Go Snowman Baby" (or as the rest of the world calls it, an Elsa doll).  Can you tell she was excited?

Melissa gave her a handmade doll with "hair like Grady".  She adores it.

We got her a few small things.  Our house is so small we really didn't get her much.

On the day of her birthday, I drove the carpool to Sonic for ice cream.  I think she got some of it in her mouth.
