A major milestone was reached at the Scala household this week. Grady lost his first tooth. This was a long time coming for the little guy as most of the kids in his class have already lost several teeth. He's been telling me he has loose teeth for months now, just hoping one actually was loose.
The big day came on Monday as he was eating his breakfast. Grady is one happy boy now that he has joined the ranks of tooth loosers.
While Grady was supremely happy, the Tooth Fairy nearly botched her first job at our house. I woke up in a panic at 4 AM as I forgot to put the money under his pillow. Josh and Grady woke up before me and Josh assumed that I forgot the money. He told Grady the Tooth Fairy put the money under Josh's pillow. He ran to our room and scrounged up 2 dollars. So, Grady got a lot of money for that first tooth. The Tooth Fairy will be on it next time.
