Swim Lessons

Grady had swim lessons last week at the Black Mountain Pool. It was a small class of 3 kids so they all received a ton of attention. By the end, they were going under water like pros. Grady can almost get to the side of the pool without help. I don't need an olympic swimmer, all I care about is that he can get out if he falls in. So far, so good. A few more trips to the pool and I think he will have it.

Ready for his first lesson.

Getting use to the cold water.

Swim lessons are not too fun when you have to sit on the side and watch. As you can see, sitting on the side was not an option for Myles. He is in his diaper as he followed Grady right into the water. His clothes were soaked.

Swimming like a fish.

Next year you can take lessons too, Myles.

Floating....can you tell he is talking. He would try to talk under the water too if he could. He never stops chatting!

Relaxing

I could not keep Myles out of the pool. The second day, I brought his swim clothes too. We splashed in the shallow end.

When Myles saw Grady jump to his teacher, he ran over to the side and tried to fling himself into the water. He wants to do EVERYTHING big brother does.
