We went to Edisto Island again for Spring Break as our annual campout with the Wardwells and Rileys. It was awesome as usual. We took it easy and relaxed at the beach and the campground. There were campfire sing alongs, good food and lots of drinks. We are already planning next year's adventure.
The view of the marsh from our campsite
Emmett and a crab. The boys had a blast catching these guys
Em loves the sand
Amanda, always the photographer
The water was freezing but that didn't stop these guys
Mike and Melissa
The campground parade
Grady, Myles and Emmett taking Melissa's bike for a spin
Just sharing some pie.....
Of course, there were some drinks complete with umbrellas
There was this amazing live oak in between our campsites.
Grady in his element
This tree offered hours of entertainment
Riding bikes to Shell Island
Freezing
The boys using the bike trailer as a wind break
The queen in her chariot
Emma snuggled up in the camper, ready for bed
This amazing girl learned how to ride her bike. It's hard to learn how to ride in the mountains. Riding at the beach was way easier.
Mike brought his taxes to use as fire starters. Myles and Emmett had a blast yelling out all of his personal information.
Baby emma
Looks like Josh had enough of playing baby. Dad needed a drink
We went to the Serpentarium
Snakes, snakes, snakes
I told her to make a face like she would if she saw an alligator
Emma fell in love with this snake
She was looking at it like one would look at a kitten or a puppy.
She wanted to take it home.
Our usual caravan of bikes to the beach. We were quite the parade of bikes
Buddies
Cleaning mussels to eat for dinner
Myles got his hair done
We left a day early because of this giant storm hitting the coast.
Myles trying the mussels
It was as relaxing as a vacation can get with 3 kids.
