Ahh, Summer time. It's nice to wake up with nothing to do. We've been filling our time with all sorts of adventures and a lot of down time.
We went to the Davidson River hunting for hellbenders. We were unsuccessful.
I added a bunch of flowers to the front porch
I had some help with the planting
I think she's making them grow
This is one of my favorite spaces
Anyone else have a daughter that cooks in an army vest complete with a dagger and gun?
Sprinkler time
The ladies are getting big. Oh, and one is a rooster. We are currently looking for someone to take him. Farewell, Ricky Bobby.
As we were sitting on the front porch, this guy strolled through the neighborhood
We made some masks
Josh finally turned the lawn mowing over to Grady
4th of July fireworks
Brittany and Lexi, Josh's cousins, came to visit.
It was great to have them down to NC
Just a typical day with Emma
There has been some playground time
Drama Queen
My children are feral.
This was funny. Emma asked for some toast and when I asked what she wanted on it, she replied "poop". I found some old chocolate soy butter and put that on there. She freaked out when I handed her some toast with "poop" on it
Haha
A zucchini from the garden
Child labor
Don't worry, I gave the the dullest knife I could find. I even tried to cut myself with it. She's dangerous with a knife.
Emma and I start off the day with coffee
