Spring has Sprung in the Mountains

I welcomed spring with open arms this year.  It has been a long, cold winter and I am ready for flowers, warm weather and bare feet.  Nothing too eventful has happened recently but here are a few photos of our comings and goings.

This was taken a few weeks ago.  I thought spring would never come.  It shouldn't snow in April.

Spring arrived and it brought with it our new town square.  The town has been working for several years on our town square, which until recently was a dilapidated gas station.  It is really coming along.  I love the rocking chairs.  The slogan for our town is "the little town that rocks".

A beautiful rhododendron bench was added

Perfect size for little E

We bought a brick to help defray costs of the town square.

My birthday this year was not very exciting.  Josh and I had plans to go out.  We had a friend coming over to watch the kids after they went to bed.  Look who had a major fit and caused us to stay home.  Teething is so awful.

These little monsters are spending a lot of time outside.

Easter came and went.  We usually go to the community Easter egg hunt but it was rained out this year.  As a fairly non-religious family, we don't do much for Easter.  Luckily, Gramma and Grandpa saved the day with their Easter gifts.  Look at the cool shirt they gave Myles.  He loved the new undies as well.....see the hat.

E loved her present and really loved the box.  Thank you Gramma and Grandpa.
