Myles 5th Birthday

Happy 5th Birthday, Myles.  I cannot believe my baby boy is 5.  What a little man you have grown up to be.  Still the international man of mystery as you never know what you are going to get with Myles.  He can be sweet and cuddly one moment and then grumpy the next.  One thing is for sure, he is the most stubborn kid I have ever met in my life.  I hope he uses this power for good, not evil.
Myles, I love you to pieces.  You are smart, kind (when you want to be), funny and most importantly you are still a mama's boy.  I have no idea what the future has in store for you.  As his 2 year old teacher once told me, "he's either going to be the president or in jail".  Ha! Seriously, what an interesting person you will be.

If you get past Myles tough exterior, there is a lover hiding in there.  Well, a lover of stuffed animals.  We bought him a huge frog for his birthday.  He has been sleeping with it every night.  Him, Grady and the giant frog....not much room in that bed.

Myles wanted to take "cupcakes with dinosaurs in them" to school.  What the general wants the general gets.

Myles and I had lunch together, just the two of us.

When Josh got home he opened his presents.  Lucky boy actually received his first gifts a few weeks before when Gramma and Grandpa came to visit.  Thank you so much for coming to see Myles.  It meant so much to all of us that you made that long trip.

Arts and Crafts from Gramma and Grandpa

For dinner Myles wanted to go to Okie Dokies.  He and Grandpa share the love of this wonderful establishment.

Myles requested a pool party for the big event.  We rented out our gym pool and invited his buddies.

For a cake, Myles wanted a "huge pile of donuts".  It was the easiest "cake" I have ever had to make.

Myles had an awesome birthday.  Just what that crazy kid deserves.
