The "Messy" Party

This year, for Grady's 6th birthday, he asked for a "messy" party.  I thought it was a great idea.  We had a slip and slide covered with soap, water balloons, water guns, a pool full of corn starch and water, a mud/dirt pit and a pie eating contest.  I think the party was a hit as all the kids (and some adults) were thoroughly covered in goo by the end.  How are we going to top this party next year?

On the soapy slip and slide.  Talk about one fast slide....  I was terrified that a kid was going to get hurt.  I had no idea how fast it would be.  Probably should have just added water instead of two bottles of baby soap.

I think by the end of the party the moms wanted to kill me.  Their kids were covered in slop and hopped up on sugar.  At least the kids had a great time.
