It's blueberry season here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We hit the Blue Ridge Parkway in search of the scrumptious berries. Black Balsam is known as a great place to do some pickin' so we stopped at the overlook and hiked up. We didn't have much luck with the blueberries but it was a breath taking hike.
We found some blackberries along the way.
The blueberry bushes had been picked over as the crop wasn't that great this year.
