We just got back from an awesome visit to Pennsylvania. We went up to Pittsburgh to see Josh's family, both mothers and fathers sides. The boys loved all the action, especially playing with their cousins. It was great to see everyone and catch up. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Our first big adventure was to the National Aviary. Gramma and Grandpa accompanied us, which made the trip extra special.
The boys played some games with a naturalist.
We watched a bird feeding. Grady and Myles were able to feed the birds.
Grandpa and Myles in the penguin exhibit.
Man, was it HOT but Gramma had it all figured out. She bought a pool, slip-n-side and water guns. The boys were in heaven. Gramma even got in on the action. Watch out for Annie Oakley.
The next day, Gramma and Grandpa rented a pontoon boat. Look at this, they were all seated at one time! Amazing cuteness.
The boys took some time to catch a few fish. Well, they didn't actually catch anything but it was fun regardless.
Relaxing on the lake. Thanks, Gramma and Grandpa. You really know how to show us a good time.
Look who else we found. Grandpa Joseph, Grandma Nancy, Aunt Sandra and Hannah rented a pontoon as well. Let the fun begin.
What a motley crew.
Aunt Carolyn and Connor
Grady and Myles commandeered Grandpa Joseph's boat. Off they went, zig zagging through the lake.
The lovely ladies cooking away. When Josh's family gets together there is no shortage of wonderful food. I wish I could cook like they do. I always look forward to great conversation and excellent grub.
Cousin Hannah kept Myles entertained. He just loves her.
What would the 4th of July be without fireworks?
Aren't they adorable? They all have such different personalities but LOVE playing together. The boys got along so well.
Josh and Uncle Nick started the firework show.
